PWHS Wins Best MUSICAL!
Last night, at the inaugural Philadelphia Independence Awards for High School Theater, the Colonial Players’ production of the “Theory of Relativity” enjoyed great success, winning 12 awards and putting on two stellar performances. It was a great night of theater with performances by Broadway actress Jenny Lee Stern, the 11th Hour Theater Company, Episcopal Academy, Ridley High School, Central High School, and more. Guest presenters at the event included Fox 29’s Mike Jerrick, Geno Vento of Geno’s Steaks, the Kimmel Center’s Director of Education, Susan Quinn, and others.
Group awards were presented to the Theory of Relativity for:

Best Sound
Best Light
Best Scenic Design
Best Creative Effects – The Rotation Crew
Best Marketing
Individual Awards presented to PWHS students:
Katie Smith – Best Featured Actress
Colin Mash – Best Supporting Actor
Caroline Borio – Best Supporting Actress, Best Female Vocalist, Broadway Dreams Scholarship Recipient
