The Theory of Relativity

"Take a Physics manual, blend it with the sound of The Book of Mormon, the hilariously nerdy references of The Big Bang Theory , a sprinkle of Chicago, few drops of Glee, bake it in a Broadway bowl, use all the originality you can have....That’s the successful recipe for the spectacular song cycle, The Theory of Relativity."– Live Like Tom

The Colonial Players are excited to present this groundbreaking musical this year.  We will be holding ten performances of this production.  Seating will be in the round to immerse the audience in the stories being told.  Seating at each performance will be limited to 250. Run time is approximately 75 minutes.

Performances:  March 1-10, 2018

Information

THE STORY: The Theory of Relativity is a joyous and moving look about our surprisingly interconnected lives.  Whether you're allergic to cats, in love for the first or tenth time, a child of divorce, a germaphobe or simply a unique individual, audience members and actors alike are sure to find themselves in this fresh new musical.  Through a seemingly unrelated collection of songs, scenes and monologues, The Theory of Relativity introduces a compelling array of characters experiencing the joys and heartbreaks, the liaisons and losses, the inevitability and the wonder of human connection.
