Buy tickets for our fall play, The COVID Diaries
Feeling cooped up inside, but bored with watching the same old TV? Stream the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Colonial Players fall play, The COVID Diaries, on November 18, 20 and 21, 2020.
What happens when a pandemic strikes and a bunch of kids can’t perform their annual fall drama? They write their own play, The COVID Diaries! Our very own PW students perform this original show inspired by their real-life experiences during the coronavirus pandemic. Reminiscent of “Saturday Night Live,” The COVID Diaries is about the ironies, the disappointments, and trying to find the humor in life during these unprecedented times.
With a variety of songs, monologues and skits, audiences will enjoy our spoofs on reality TV, including “Keeping up with the Colonials,” “COVID’s Kitchen” and “Colonial Players Quarantine Update.” Just like the rollercoaster of the past nine months, some scenes are serious while others will make you laugh but all are geared to entertain.
